What are your delivery times?

It can take up to 48 hours to get your order out the door, and the coffee is fresh. We know what a difference fresh makes. We have set up a system to get the freshest coffee shipped to our customers as soon as possible. Usually our processing time is 24 hours or less, but this may vary based on shipping schedules and roasting schedules.

Does INDOxyz ship internationally?

Yes, by UPS courier service.

Where and how are your green bean sourced?

Our beans are ultra-premium and we are not exaggerating. They are directly hand picked by our founder and sourced exclusively from the 17,000 islands of Indonesia, the world's most diversified and fourth largest coffee producing nation.

Indonesian coffee includes the magical islands of Sumatra, Java, Bali, Toraja, Flores, Papua among others and the Dutch brought Indonesian coffee back to Europe centuries ago. You can learn more about the characteristics of each region's bean on product pages. 

How is your green bean processed?

Our raw green bean ingredient goes through a complex and rigorous processing standard. We first sort all raw bean by using state of the art technology equipments to automate sorting. Its impossible to have the best quality coffee without the best equipment as a rule of thumb. 

Sorting covers three major areas: color, density/weight and shape of raw green bean. They are separated into multiple silos according to their physical traits. But more importantly, sorting ensures that non-coffee items accidentally picked up and all severely damaged raw green bean were separated in the early stage of processing. 

Once this step is over, green bean runs on a conveyor belt may be manually picked and sorted again by thousands of individual coffee farmers (in a humane facility and no child labor) to cross check the equipment did not miss anything. If the bean is checked one round on the conveyer belt, its referred to as single pick. If it’s twice, it’s double picked and three times, triple picked. Triple picked beans are the most rigorous and expensive coffee but it will blow your mind away when you taste it. 

Where are your beans roasted?

Our whole bean are roasted locally and cupped in Los Angeles, United States. Our Master Roaster tailors each roast to the coffee bean's specific profile. That means no two roasts are the same. It's a sensory process, from hearing the cracking of the beans over the fire to recognizing the smell of perfectly roasted beans.

Does your roasting facility remits lower carbon emissions?

Yes. We use Loring Smart branded roaster, https://loring.com/ which is the industry’s leader in eco-friendlier roaster. It produces the lowest carbon emission and Tentera qualified for a rebate from the state of California for this investment.

Is your coffee certified?

Certain coffee hold various certifications including organic, or non-gmo. Please refer directly to the product you are purchasing for certifications.

If they do not have any certifications, it means the coffee is natural processed. Please note that certifications are very expensive and some of Indonesia’s 1.5 million small coffee farmers cannot afford these up-front and annual renewal costs yet. 

Are your beans certified organic?

Certain coffee we market are certified organic. Please refer directly to the product you are purchasing for certifications.

It will have the USDA Organic certified by CCOF logo. We renew our certificate on an annual basis after passing an audit inspection by a random CCOF inspector. 

We are also registered with the state of California Department of Public Health and City of Vernon Public Health. 

Currently, we have Sumatra Gayo, Sulawesi Toraja, and Espresso House Blend as certified USDA Organic. You are welcome to request a copy of our USDA Organic certification upon request or check directly at CCOF's website. 

How long does each bag of coffee last?

As a rule of thumb, better green bean ingredient as a start will always last longer and better, even after long period. Although coffee generally speaking has no expiration, it has a "best before" policy. Best before is generally up to 6 months since roast date at the bottom or back of our packaging. Our roasted coffee are packed in a sealed eco-friendly packaging that are meant to last for months if stored properly. We recommend consuming the coffee within two to three weeks from your date of open or first use. After about two or three weeks, you'll start to notice a steady decline in flavor but it’s still taste awesome by any standard and when compared to most general coffee in the market. 

What is the best way to store coffee at home?

We recommend storing coffee in a cool, dry place. Any cupboard out of direct sunlight with no exposure to moisture is a great place.

What forms of payment does INDO.xyz accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Amazon Pay. We do not accept checks or cash at this time.

I received an error message when trying to check out. What does this mean?

Please verify that the billing information you have entered is the same as the information that your bank has on file. If you enter billing information that varies from what your bank has on file, then your order will not go through. Please note that we do not keep your financial payment information. 

Do you restock merchandise that are sold out?

Most of our styles are seasonal or limited editions; this means that once they sell out they will not be restocked. However, some of our best selling products are frequently restocked, such as the following: T-Shirt & Headwear.

How do I know if my order was placed successfully?

After your order is submitted, you will be directed to an order confirmation page with your order number. If you've reached this page, we've received your order and we are either reviewing your payment information or your order is ready to be processed. You should also receive an e-mail confirmation shortly after your order is submitted to confirm that we received it. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail confirming shipment. Please note that there may be a slight delay in shipment should it fall on a weekend, public holiday, government order shutdown, or should we be out of stock. 

Can I modify or cancel an order once it has been placed?

In an effort to get our shipments to our customers as quickly as possible, your order cannot be canceled or modified once it is shipped out. We will try our best to modify if it has not been shipped out. Please email us at support@indo.xyz and provide us your request and Invoice number. However, you may be able to return and get a refund on your items to us once you receive them. Please refer to our Returns questions for details.

Do you ship with recycle boxes?

As part of Indo Coffee's mission to save the planet, we use recycle boxes whenever possible. So don't be surprise if you see a plain box or boxes with other company logos when you receive your order. There is no reason why these boxes cannot be recycled.

What is your refund policy?

Coffee (consumables) product: Coffee is perishable in nature and roasted to order.

Every unique customer will get an exception to a FULL and guaranteed refund twice (2) times per calendar year, for whatever reason it may be, no question ask from us. We hope this should be sufficient for you to shop with peace of mind. 

Thereafter, we're unable to accept returns or refunds unless its proven not fresh upon receiving it with photos of the coffee emailed to us within 2 (two) business days of receiving shipment and we will gladly exchange with the same or similar product free for you at our cost. Simply let us know prior to the deadline and we will process the case. Please let us know within two (2) days of your delivery date by emailing support@indo.xyz 

Equipment and merchandise (Non-Consumables) product: Any equipment, parts, accessories or merchandise may be returned for full refund or exchange with free return shipping provided that it remains in its original manufacture condition, new, unused, not tampered, not broken, working condition and original boxes or packaging and instructions returned to us. Please let us know within five (5) days of your delivery date by emailing support@indo.xyz

What about my refund?

If we receive your return within 30 days, you can choose to receive your refund to your original payment method. In order for you to receive your refund back to your original payment method, we must receive your items within 30 days of your order date. Once we receive your item(s), please allow 5-7 working days for us to process your refund.

If you paid via PayPal, your refund will be issued back to your PayPal account. If you paid with a credit or debit card, your refund will be issued back to your card. The time it will take for your refund to post to your bank account, PayPal account or credit card will vary.

Please note that your refund will appear as an individual credit for each item returned, so you may see multiple credits on your credit card/bank/Paypal statement if you are returning multiple items.

Do you offer exchanges?

We will provide free exchanges if there is any mistake (wrong item, broken or missing parts) from our fulfillment unit at our cost. 

For coffee consumables, we will provide each unique customer twice (2x) per calendar year to get a free exchange for whatever reason it may be, no question ask. Thereafter, free exchanges are only limited to reasons such as wrong item, broken or missing parts. Please notify us at support@indo.xyz within three (3) business days from delivery date. 

For non-consumables, we provide exchanges once per item purchased with free return shipping and free shipping for the new corrected item so long the item returned to us remains in its original manufacture condition, new, unused, not tampered, not broken, working condition and original boxes or packaging and instructions included. This must be done so through email at support@indo.xyz within three (3) business days of delivery date.

What is this warning?

These warnings are provided pursuant to a California labeling law called Proposition 65 (or Prop 65 for short), which is meant to notify individuals in California of potential exposures to Prop 65-listed chemicals. Prop 65 is a right-to-know law; it does not ban the sale of any products that contain these chemicals.
